We are currently seeking Welders/Fitters for Structural Fabrication and Bucket shop.
Positions available: 2

• The candidate must have a min. of 3 years experience.
• Must have a  Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) National certificate
• Must have a valid welding ticket in FCAW/GMAW.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Must be able to report to a team leader to take direction and work independently in a fast-paced
work environment

• Strong Team Player

Job Type: Full-time, Shop work

Salary: $32-$35.5 hourly, for 40 hours per week.

Required education:
• High school or equivalent
• Trade School

Duties include: 

· Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.

· Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)

· Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.

· Operate brazing and soldering equipment.

· Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.

· Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.

· Strong communication skills in English is an asset
