Position Summary

The City of Timmins Facilities & Recreation Department is currently looking for temporary public skating attendants and cashiers for local arenas beginning in November for both weeknights and weekends (days and evenings).

Skating Attendant Duties

• Provide on-ice supervision
• Enforce public skating rules
• Respond to general public inquiries

Cashier Duties

• Collect public skating admissions
• Complete cash reports
• Respond to general public inquiries

Qualifications

• Proficient skater (skating attendant)
• Experience in handling cash (cashier)
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Bilingualism is a definite asset
• Current First Aid/CPR certificate and WHMIS (an asset)
