Job Description

G.R. Roy Construction is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, assisting with new construction, renovations, formwork, finishing, and general carpentry duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and commercial carpentry work
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
• Install doors, windows, framing, flooring, siding, and trim
• Construct and install concrete forms and scaffolding
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience
• Experience in residential and/or commercial construction
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Valid driver’s license considered an asset
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
