Plasma Table Operator / Shop Support

360 Services Inc. is looking for a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Plasma Table Operator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to support other areas of the shop as required.

We are a heavy equipment repair and fabrication company supporting the mining and industrial sectors, specializing in bucket rebuilds, welding, machining support, line boring, fabrication, and field services.

Position Overview

The Plasma Table Operator will be primarily responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC plasma cutting table while assisting with general shop operations when production demands require it. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, initiative, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC plasma cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret drawings, cut lists, and work orders
• Load and unload steel plate and materials
• Inspect cut quality and ensure parts meet specifications
• Organize and identify cut components for fabrication and welding teams
• Perform basic machine maintenance and consumable changes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with shop tasks as needed, including:
  • Material handling
  • Grinding and preparation work
  • General fabrication support
  • Shop cleanup and organization
  • Assisting welders and fitters
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC plasma table preferred
• Material handling experience considered an asset
• Experience in fabrication, welding, or heavy industrial environments considered an asset
• Ability to read shop drawings and use measuring tools
• Forklift or overhead crane experience considered an asset
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable of working in an industrial shop environment
