Access Better Living Inc. is a not for profit organization which promotes independent living and community involvement for persons with disabilities through the provision of quality services and housing.

We are seeking to hire Regular Personal Support Workers (PSW) who are interested in working with our Attendant Outreach Program within a unionized environment.

You must be able to work days, evening, nights, and weekends.

JOB OVERVIEW

• Demonstrated ability to provide personal care assistance and support via activities of daily living to clients within the Attendant Outreach Program and who reside within the City of Timmins
• To develop and maintain effective client care giver professional boundaries while maintain and healthy client working relationships
• To carry out program service administration requirements as per policy and procedures
• To comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
• To respond to emergency situations

QUALIFICATIONS:-

• Personal Support Worker Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience working with adults with physical disabilities is considered an asset
• Understanding and commitment providing care within Assisted Living Program
• Must have reliable form of transportation via use of own personal vehicle
• Maintenance and proof of Vehicle insurance with two (2) million liability vehicle insurance
• Maintenance and proof of Valid Driver License
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
• Clear Criminal Record Check

• Schedule :-  Can be scheduled up to 60 hours bi-weekly
• Location:-  Community
