The Bucket Shop Inc. is a Timmins, Ontario based mining equipment repair and manufacturing facility. Within the facility, is a brand new 10,000 square foot, state of the art sandblast and paint shop. We are in search of a Paint Shop Supervisor to add to our growing team. The Paint Shop Supervisor is a working supervisor position with two employees to start under their leadership. They are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the paint production operations. The Paint Shop Supervisor will be tasked with leading the team of Industrial Painters and Sandblasters to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality painted products. This role will include managing resources, monitoring production processes and timelines, maintaining equipment, enforcing safety regulations and collaborating with various departments to meet production targets and customer requirements. In addition to this, the Paint Shop Supervisor will partake in Industrial Painter/Body Prep Technician duties as time permits.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience working as an autobody technician
- Experience using a spray gun.
- Ability to provide appropriate supervision and schedule day-to-day operations
- Able to ensure safety policies and procedures are upheld
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
