Description
CJ Equipment Sales and Service is growing our team. We are currently looking to fill the position of Full-Time experienced Operations Manager. Hours would be 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Wage to be discussed and based on experience. Benefit package available post-probation period
Responsibilities
- Create team schedules and delegate tasks to ensure proper workflow.
- Continuously monitor employee performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Establish company goals and objectives for employees, and ensure their performance is in line with those.
- Assess employee performance and provide performance reviews to human resource and senior managers.
- Ensure team members meet deadlines for key projects and tasks.
- Address any concerns or issues identified by team members.
- Assist in the process of screening and assessing new candidates.
- Provide training and oversee the orientation of new employees to get them up to speed on the policies and procedures within the company.
- Oversee efficiency of operational processes
- Analyze business requirements and customer needs.
- Research methods to improve operations and reduce costs.
- Provide administrative support (e.g. updating inventory)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements And Skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations within a production environment.
- Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
- Minimum of Grade 12, with a post-secondary education in a business-related discipline preferred
- Experience in an operational management role within the repair and maintenance industry preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience supervising/managing
- Mechanically inclined, and be comfortable with troubleshooting problems preferred
- Exceptional inter-personal, organizational, and time management skills
- Above-average computer acumen with MS Office 365 and Outlook. Keyloop/Serti experience preferred.
- Experience and/or exposure in the aggregate, mining, or construction industries would be an asset
- Superior telephone manners and etiquette
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- An internal drive to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Ability to quickly analyze and interpret the needs of customers and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
