Rotation: 14 days in / 14 days out

Caron Equipment Inc., in partnership with IAMGOLD at the Côté Gold Mine, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support site operations and ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in administrative coordination, financial support, communication, and office organization while maintaining a professional and confidential work environment. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced mining and construction environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries professionally
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Process invoices, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities alongside the finance team
- Prepare and assist with regularly scheduled reports and documentation
- Maintain filing systems and perform administrative tasks such as typing, scanning, copying, and data entry
- Order and manage office supplies and coordinate office maintenance requirements
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, customers, and site personnel
- Support coordination and communication between departments and teams
- Assist with additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements
- Experience working in a mining, construction, or industrial environment is considered an asset
