We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the full operations of a heavy equipment dealership, including sales, service, parts, rentals, and administration. This role carries full P&L accountability and requires a hands‑on, visible leader who can drive performance, ensure OEM compliance, lead a great team, and deliver strong customer and financial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all dealership departments to maximize uptime, customer satisfaction, and profitability
- Oversee equipment, parts, and service sales performance and market development
- Drive service productivity, warranty management, and parts inventory performance
- Manage budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and overall dealership financial results
- Maintain OEM relationships, compliance, reporting, and audit readiness
- Recruit, develop, and hold accountable high‑performing teams across all departments
- Ensure a strong safety culture and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify growth opportunities and support long‑term strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bilingual in French and English
- 8–12+ years of leadership experience in heavy equipment or related industries
Ability to commit full‑time focus to one organization
- Proven success managing sales, service, and parts operations
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility at a branch or dealership level
- Strong understanding of OEM dealer standards and compliance
- Experience leading multi‑department teams in a fast‑paced environment
